As an international meeting, the Conference represents a great opportunity for industry and academia to exchange and establish new contacts and acquire new scientific and technical knowledge. The ACT ’16 Organising Committee invites speakers who are specialists from significant laboratories and companies who will focus on their newest achievements in coatings, thereby bringing together scientists and engineers from material producers, paint makers, machinery, and manufacturers.
The organizer invites the submission of papers or posters of high scientific and technical standard to be presented at ACT ’16 on suitable topics, including:
Raw Materials Evolutions
- Binders: resins, new polymer syntheses for coatings, organic – inorganic hybrid materials, biopolymers, intelligent polymers.
- Novel pigments and aspects of colour: functional pigments, anticorrosive pigments, specialty and high performance pigments.

- Novel additives: functional additives, agents and
modifiers, biocides.

Il Comitato Organizzatore di ACT 16 invita relatori specializzati provenienti da laboratori e società ad esporre le loro recenti ricerche nell’area dei rivestimen- ti, promuovendo così lo scambio fra ricercatori e ingegneri operanti nell’industria produttrice di materiali, di pitture e macchinari.
L’organizzatore invita ad inviare relazioni tecniche o poster di alto standard tecnico-scientifico, da presentare ad ACT 16, su tematiche idonee, fra cui:
Evoluzione delle materie prime
- Leganti: resine, nuove sintesi di polimeri per rivestimenti, materiali ibridi organici ed inorganici, biopolimeri, polimeri smart.
- Nuovi pigmenti e rapporti tinta: pigmenti funzionali, anticorrosivi, di specialità e di alta prestazione.
- Cariche e cariche funzionali.
- Nuovi additivi: additivi funzionali, agenti e
modificatori, biocidi. - Solventi.
Tecnologie avanzate
Rivestimenti a base acquosa, alto solido, in polvere, fotoreticolabili (UV/EB), e funzionali: antivegetative e anticorrosione, smart coatings: igienici, nanostrutturati, autopulenti, antigraffiti, di origine naturale, microbiologia dei rivestimenti.
Applicazioni
Rivestimenti per il settore automotive, decorativi, per legno e metallo d’uso industriale, per l’uso
in nautica, protettivi e anticorrosione.
