For the first time, ETCC is being held in Britain alongside the UK’s leading coatings show, Surfex. ETCC anticipates participation of some 300 manufacturers, raw material suppliers and academics. Topics for the ETCC 2016:
Advances in paints, inks, adhesives and
sealants; polymers, colorants and other raw materials; progress in production, application and processes; crosslinking and hardening;
new optical properties of coatings; corrosion protection, nano technology, saving resources, measuring and testing; functional coatings; biobased coatings and sustainability in the coatings field.

Against the background of the REACH Regulation enacted by the EU, O&S 2016 will focus on the conservation of energy, materials and natural resources during the surface coating process, environment-friendly pre-treatment as well as new coating systems. The International Trade Fair for Surface Treatments & Coatings will illuminate the entire spectrum of surface treatment technology. For the first time O&S will include guided tours centering on specific topics.
