should you change your for- mulations as a function of the specific use in each nation or is the formulation standard all over the world?
X. Fournier: “ We wish to sup-
ply products globally without
neglecting the market needs
which we interface with. In
some areas of the world there
are customers focussing more
on some market segments
and this can change in other
areas of the world with different needs. Our highlight is the formulation of products according to the customers’ de- mand; we start from a basic range then to change something where it is possible to do so or if there is the need o some formulation specifications. We take into account the require- ments and, as we consider ourselves “open-minded” we try to be responsible as far as the environmental requirements are concerned and we try to understand the regulations at European and extra-European level. What I want to stress now is that our company is really committed in protecting people and the environment”.
G.B.Pècere: Usually, in Nuremberg, those companies which carry out Research and Development activities use the Euro- pean Coatings Show to spread out novelties. Also Vencorex will showcase the aliphatic isocyanate EasaquaTM X D 870. Can you describe in details the technical features of this products?
X. Fournier: “ It is a new product showing the way we are leading with our new production and with the developments that our R&D department proposes. This means that we are asking these questions: what could we do to manufacture greener products? What could we do to manufacture pro- ducts with less VOC emissions? How are finished products improved through the new technologies? EasaquaTM X D 870 is a product with low VOC emissions, something which in Germany is highly demanded; it is easy to use, it features high chemical resistance, being a greatly appreciated featu- re, it is low odour and viscosity, it dries quickly, it is for glossy varnishes and it has been developed exclusively for water- borne 2K polyurethane systems as an effective new product instead of solventborne systems. It can be introduced in systems for coatings for interiors and wood varnishes”.
G.B.Pècere: Another product of your top quality pro- duction range is the TolonateTM X Flo 100 which is partially

nazioni oppure la formulazione è standard per tutto il mondo?
X. Fournier: “Il desiderio è quello di fornire i prodotti globalmente, non trascurando le necessità
del mercato con il quale ci interfacciamo. In alcune aree del mondo ci sono clienti focalizzati maggiormente su alcuni segmenti di mercato, questo può differire da altri situati in altre zone del mondo che hanno altre esigenze. La nostra capacità è quella di formulare i prodotti in funzione delle richieste del cliente; partiamo da una serie di base per poi modificare qualcosa dove possibile o se c'è la necessità di alcune specifiche di formulazione. Ascoltiamo la richiesta e visto che ci consideriamo “open-mind” cerchiamo di essere responsabili verso le tematiche ambientali e capire le regolamentazioni a livello europeo ed extra europeo. Quello che mi preme sottolineare è che la nostra società è molto attenta nel proteggere le persone e l'ambiente”.
G.B. Pècere: Di solito a Norimberga le aziende che fanno Ricerca e Sviluppo utilizzano l’European Coatings Show per diffondere tali novità. Anche la Vencorex presenterà l’isocianato alifatico EasaquaTM X D 870. Ci potete illustrare meglio le caratteristiche di tale prodotto?
X. Fournier: “E' un nuovo prodotto che fa capire la direzione che stiamo prendendo con la nostra nuova produzione e con gli sviluppi che il nostro reparto di R&D propone. Questo significa che ci poniamo queste domande: come fare per produrre prodotti più green? Come fare per produrre prodotti con meno VOC? Come vengono migliorati i prodotti finali con le nuove tecnologie? EasaquaTM X D 870 è un prodotto che è a basse emissioni VOC una cosa che qui in Germania è molto sentita, è facile da usare, ha resistenza chimica elevata, una caratteristica apprezzata di questa gamma, è a basso odore e viscosità, ha essiccazione rapida, è per vernici lucide ed è stato sviluppato esclusivamente per sistemi poliuretanici bicomponenti all'acqua come efficace alternativa ai sistemi a base solvente. Può essere incluso in sistemi per rivestimenti di interni e vernici per legno”.
