INTERNATIONAL CARRIAGE OF GOODS BY RAIL (RID REGULATIONS)
Rail transportation (RID) is only allowed for UN numbers UN 3531 and UN 3532. Note that in case of ADR/RID combined transport, what is regulated in 1.1.4.4 RID must be followed.
INTERNATIONAL MARITIME DANGEROUS GOODS CODE (IMDG REGULATIONS)
In case of maritime transportation, in addition to what is provided by IMDG Regulations 38-16, the new sections have been included in the D stowage category. In the stowage, it is necessary to protect goods from heat sources (SW1) and only UN numbers UN 3533 and 3534 must be carried with the temperature control (SW3).
Lastly, the segregation codes define that the goods must be stowed “separated from” acids (SG35) and “separated from” alkalis (SG36).
Please note that in case of ADR/IMDG intermodal freight transport, the observance of ADR provisions 1.1.4.2 and 5.4.1.1.7 and ADR 5.4.2 for tank transportation is mandatory. In case of transportations involving an IMDG/RID route, refer to RID 1.1.4.2.

TRASPORTO FERROVIARIO (RID)
Nel caso di trasporto per via ferroviaria (RID), esso è ammesso solamente per i numeri ONU 3531 e UN 3532. Si ricorda che nel caso di trasporto combinato ADR/RID si deve seguire quanto prescritto in 1.1.4.4 RID.
TRASPORTO MARITTIMO (CODICE IMDG)
Nel caso di trasporto marittimo, oltre a quanto previsto dal Codice IMDG 38-16, le nuove rubriche sono state associate alla categoria di stivaggio D. Nello stivaggio è necessario proteggere la merce da fonti di calore (SW1) e, per i soli numeri ONU 3533 e 3534, trasportati con il controllo di temperatura (SW3). Infine, i codici di segregazione definiscono che le merci devono essere stivate “separato da” acidi (SG35) e “separato da” alcali (SG36). Si ricorda che nel caso di trasporto intermodale ADR/IMDG è necessario attenersi alle disposizione del 1.1.4.2 e 5.4.1.1.7 ADR e al 5.4.2 ADR per il trasporto in container. Nel caso di trasporti comportanti un percorso IMDG/RID si faccia riferimento a 1.1.4.2 RID.
